About

As a young girl with a strong imagination, Carrie’s love for the arts started in her early childhood.

Her journey started at C.W. Jeffery's Collegiate Institute in their special arts program from Grades 9 to 12. Knowing her career path, Carrie then proceeded to Humber College, graduating with honours in Advertising and Graphic Design.

With more than 10 years experience in web development, print design and multimedia production, Carrie’s talent has a dynamic range. While working at well known companies such as Best Buy and Tribute Entertainment Media Group, Carrie has also grown immensely as a freelance web/graphic designer for smaller companies.

Additionally, Carrie has extensive visual arts training, with a special fondness for commission paintings. Painting murals for elementary schools to promote unity; artwork displayed on a Walt Disney television show; and artwork credited for a short film are just a few of her accomplishments.

In 2009, Carrie took her creativity in another direction with confectionery arts and even started her own small business, Cakes by Carrie.

Multi-talented, hard-working and deeply passionate, Carrie ranks charity work high on her list of priorities. Being involved in the community and helping others are important to Carrie, thus her recent projects include last summer’s 60km Walk to End Women’s Cancers and designing the logo/baking goods for Toronto Bakes for Japan. Carrie's future is bright; she plans on having an art show at the end of the year and intends to continue growing as an artist.
